Hello friends,
How are you?
Site maintenance is still on-going, and everything should be in order by the end of this month. I am great otherwise. The weather is getting cooler in the evenings and mornings otherwise it feels like spring all over again. It’s a blessing to see sunshine almost every single day.
Welcome to my blog if it’s your first time here and if it’s not your first time here then you already know that I was living in England before and that’s how come I am on about the sunshine. ?
You know how come I’ve reached this topic? See, last week I was observing this Okra/Lady Fingers plant. See the picture above. Yes, these lot, and I wondered such a beautiful flower. Can you see the inside of the flower? It’s the first time I have seen an Okra plant and the flowers.
It all starts with a seed, just like you and I. The seed was nurtured. This is how I view the concept, how come love is so indifferent to a plant or tree?
You were conceived, irrelevant how, but most of us come into this world after being conceived from love. The seed is nurtured and most of us were cared for while we were in our mummy’s tummies, that’s how come we are here. Things can go wrong; the seed can germinate in a good environment or not. It might grow up to a certain point and die or it might grow strong. It might not even be looked after but grows in a place where it found the right environment to grow in its own way.
You come into this world even though your branches are bent or twisted. You thrive because your roots are strong. Some of us thrive better because the right and the almost perfect environment was provided and some of us grow up strong from what is provided. Either way, we all have to believe and trust that we will be provided for, we will survive the external forces, we will get what we need when we need it from the universe. The more we see the ray of light the more hope there is for us.
So, as I look at this plant, take a look here…
This is what came to me. This seed was born from love, it was born from trust.
Meaning one
- It came to us, and was planted in the right environment, given the right spaces and distance in centimetres in the soil and not far from the love of the sun. It trusts on external forces. It has no choice but to trust the universe to provide. It receives rain from the universe, love and nurturing from the farmer, light from the sun. To grow straight, it’s full potential, it requires the right foundation in which it can flourish and not be hindered by any obstacle.
Meaning two
- Two people come together this way. They fall in love, their love is based on trust, and for it to flourish it requires the right balance; external forces, the universe, and their internal strength. They become one forming one strong foundation making their love blossom. From the left, you see the woman or man’s side of the family (branches and leaves) as they grow, on the right, you see the woman or man’s side of the family (branches and leaves) as they grow. They grow taller and stronger spreading their love and then (branches and leaves) friends come in from hers and his side. They spread love and in contentment to themselves and everything around them blossoms, by which you begin to see flowers opening up and then they bear the fruits of their love; abundance. Isn’t it romantic? No, it doesn’t end here… you can keep making babies… sorry I mean you can keep multiplying the abundance in various ways.
At this point, I ask myself, “Is it better to be an evergreen tree? Hmm so which one then? Avocado, lychee, mango, loquat, lemon or olive?” So much to choose from…
How different does that sound from us
Some of us grow up sour, bitter, some of us grow up hard, some of us grow up really sweet or in-between, some of us grow tall some of us grow short, some of us grow up round ?. Oh! And if you’re Okra then some of us grow being so good for each other and we don’t even know it. We all grow at different speeds while some are born, others are matured, and some are in the middle. Some of us are green, yellow, pink, orange, red, green etc. in colour. Are you racist when picking your fruit or veg?
Just asking, how? ?
Some have properties to help you with diabetes, others for hair, others for natural makeup, others for cancer prevention others for different types of illnesses and some are just plain old poisonous. Sounds familiar? Hey, hey… now did I get your attention? In the same way, some people are serious yet informative, some are humorous, others are direct, others are not aggressive etc.
Then some of us have seasons of love, seasons of friendships, seasons of pain, seasons of happiness, seasons of confusion … all along the seasons of growing and dying to grow like an old wise tree. Some of us are forty human years by just growing six years like my dog, or we can be forty human years and still be sporty and naughty or we can be forty human years and still act like we’re six okay let me be lenient … twelve. Better?
So, at some point, we might just fall off the tree without ever maturing, without ever being picked up, either dying, decomposing or re-growing. No one knows our fate… only the universe, while some of us make a difference, become fully grown plants and trees, remain as buds, grow as fruits; some tiny, in-between or mature, get picked, get unpicked or fall to the ground they have made a small difference which might go unseen or they have made a massive difference. Only the universe knows why it does what it does….
The difference has been made either way, and it is all born from love and guided by the wisdom of the universe.
Yours sincerely,
T. Dench Patel
