Hello friends,
hope you are well on this lovely Tuesday (whatever time it is for you).
One big sigh… shooooo. Now, I’m sure you know that we had some website challenges but hooray!!! We finally can say it’s all back to normal.
I am currently on a fourtopia challenge in my community. While I am on day eighteen, I’m still logging down my progress, so, doing just that I happened to bump into the title of this article. The fourtopia challenge aims to help you stay in a state of flow keeping your health, wealth, social and self in balance. While I’ve realised that it’s not as easy as stated above there are sub-areas in these four topics that take you further in a state of flow or you might find yourself at a stagnating level, pattern and routine where one sub area in your four categories can be undernourished so to say which then creates a circumstance or circumstances in your life, hence why most of us have created the problems that we are currently dealing with in our lives. The four areas have stages and phases too which should be revisited every certain amount of years or even weeks if need be. See, chopping and changing things as you go on is a necessary part of life, shedding, releasing and excelling. Why? Creatures of the same habit for the entire life stay the same, grow in wisdom (depends), their bodies and mind change with time i.e. the lizard, the dog, the cat, the cheetah, and so can human beings who decide to lay there head down until their brains collect dust, often self-sabotaging what we won’t admit to ourselves, i.e. we’ve either called it quits or are about to quit.
Today I really want to make you see how detailed your choices are and if the choices that you are taking and making on small things need a lot of resistance at your end then my question to you is, how easy is it to fall for a choice that not necessarily has anything to do with the right thing/moral thing compared to what is easy? Some of us have seen and know very well how making the wrong choices created short-lived awesomeness in superficial and even toxic ways rather than taking the long, hard or truthful road, i.e. the time that could have been spent on something genuine with a solid foundation which would have still sustained you on some level. We live in a world where what’s not necessary or ethical on this planet eventually withers away, businesses are and in the past, have been literally withering away. Now, I’m not saying all businesses are unethical, the other element is that perhaps certain systems are no longer sustainable for the type of future ahead of us.
All the choices you’re making with you first, i.e. right from the tiniest ones to the bigger ones will tell you how poor or how rich those choices are and where they will take you.
The place where I’ve really been able to write this article from is from the category of health and self.
I look at the four areas as such.
Health (External and Internal)
Physical – For example, the physical body functions and what is necessary for it to function and be healthy, or for example what goes on the surface of your body and what are you consuming.
Mental – For example, the mental activities necessary for the brain to stay active and for it to stay healthy.
Emotional – For example, how are you alleviating pressures which come from spreading yourself thin physically and how this is affecting your emotions?
Spiritual – For example, being aware on where you are draining your energy through the physical, spiritual, and emotional responsibilities you’ve either chosen to occupy your mind with or what the physical body is handling.
Internal
Understand that if the investment on the internal level is ten percent then the physical outcome will be at the same percent, but this is always continuous work.
The questions to ask here are:
- Is what I’m doing really making me feel positive or negative?
- How do I feel at the end of the day, i.e. am I living my ideal day in an ideal way?
- Do I feel more of joy, happiness satisfaction, fulfilment or I feel negative mostly by the end of the day?
Self
Understand that if the investment on the internal level in this area is ten percent then the external level outcome will simply be half of that, i.e. five percent, why? Because this takes continuous work.
External
The questions to ask here and the actions to take here depends on your answers.
- What am I filling my body with which I know isn’t really good for me, and how often am I doing that? It’s easy to do it rather than telling myself no. This is where this title of the article came from. (We’re really going to hone in on this one and how it relates to the title of this article. You’re not harming yourself; you’re harming yourself. Are you harming others, or do you not know that you are harming others?
- To alleviate all the external pressures you have what practices are you doing for your internal spirit to alleviate or remove the unwanted energies that you’re storing in certain parts of your body and removing them from your body?
- Is there a practice of soul cleansing?
Internal
Mind – What words you think, leave your thoughts through words or remain and what are you’re focusing on and why? Is this really meaningful? Are your thoughts empowering to you and others?
Internal body (healing)
Spirit
Soul
In this category, you have such vast subjects like self-love, self-value/worth, self-sabotage, fear etc. (in my blog posts I go through a lot of them).
Social
I’d divide this into:

Internal
- The relationship with yourself (internal dialogues and self-communication).
- Judgements vs the reality and truth. Your belief vs what others believe when they meet you and this belief reflects what you attract (This is why it’s important to surround yourself with like-minded people, purely because you’re all trying to achieve the higher frequency and to live healthy with healthy empowerment). This reflection here along with the energetic vibration of the work you do on self and health is what you radiate. It is the mirror of the external, i.e. below.
External
- The relationship with your immediate family, what you attract and even the situations.
- The relationship with your significant other, what you attract and even the situations.
- The relationship with your friends, what you attract even situations.
- The relationship with those who you work with, what you attract and even the situations.
Wealth
I’d divide this into:

Internal
- What is your wealth mindset? i.e. limiting beliefs, blockages and concepts around money and facing this first.
- How do you spend on you? Are you stingy with time for yourself, are you working on your inner system opening yourself up through energetic vibrations attracting what wants you and vice versa?
- What mindset you have currently that is disabling or enabling your action to get the job done or creating income-producing activities?
- Zooming in on your exact intentions, being very exact about what outcomes you’re after.
- Education required or experience required.
- The loyalty and the way you run relationships, i.e. with yourself, family, significant other, and friends will play out in the way you carry your relationships with your business partners, employees, and colleagues.
External
- How do your image and reputation look from what has been produced through the internal dialogues (the results will be enabling or disabling depending on this mindset)?
- Physical time put into the business through action.
- How are is your company serving customers?
This is just roughly what’s come up so if we hone into where it starts exactly with regards to How little things tell a big tale some might say it’s how you wake up and start the morning. I’ve had the days where I got up, took a shower at five-thirty in the morning for years and began my practices then had breakfast. Lately, for me it’s more of get up and getting ready to get to the breakfast table to meet the family is where my day starts. So, I’m guessing for the majority of you that have come across this website just recently or these concepts you might not have had a proper self-check, felt an awakening or had an awakening but don’t really know that you’ve had it. I believe the true master is the one that practices the entire day even if a session isn’t set aside for practising. I believe the practice is to strengthen the forces in you so that you can master your entire day, and we all know this happens bit by bit. T. Dench Patel, 8 September 2020, 19:40

In the fourtopia challenge, I’ve realised that most of the amazing food (healthy and unhealthy) at home, in my country and what makes a family unite is fun, but what is nice, fun, tasty, greasy, sugar-coated to fancy feeling like you’ve defeated what life is really like in the real world. I believe the demons you defeat in poverty are better handled when wealthy. – T. Dench Patel, 8 September 2020, 17:30 What does this mean?
You know facing your demons starting with these small temptations really can help you defeat the wolf dressed in sheep’s skin which can come in larger quantities in your external world. To defeat the external demons whatever you might call it (girls, fast cars, drugs, partying, alcohol, toxic people etc.) you must master the inner ones because the more you live your purpose the more you have to come back to your why, the more you have only yourself to answer to amongst many temptations that lie out there. In the fourtopia challenge, I’ve realised I wanted to after say day fifteen or sixteen, keep my stomach empty in the mornings, almost like a fast. I feel great. Today, I did feel like taking a ginger biscuit and I took just one, but when you say you’re going to do something and don’t do it, how do you feel? Having the one biscuit helped me see why I should be stronger. I just decided to go on a little test with myself now, a little further. I’ve also taken stock of the temptations that are around and compared it to my simple life overseas where I chose the temptations on my terms, but I love this test. I get to see how untempted I can be having as much as possible around to tempt me. This is fun! I really get to see how strong I am now. So far, so good, but I am going to go a bit further for the sake of my little test now right up to the end of the challenge, and if I feel like adopting the elimination of more from then on, great, let’s see what I uncover.
So, I’ve learnt, that the decision is taken then and there, it looks pretty, it tastes good, is it necessary for satisfying hunger? Or Is it a luxury? Do I really need to have it? Can I stay without it? How does it feel to have kept my word with me? How does that spirit feel, when you haven’t fallen for something that easy? What have you achieved for the self? Almost like, in the world where you can have everything externally what feels more satisfying to the spirit, body, soul, the whole!? This I do believe is the ultimate test of self. – T.
