Hello friends,
How are you?
This topic was inevitable, I didn’t want to come to this, but I had to. Pharmacies in the Johannesburg region yesterday were so busy, everything is going off the shelves, including prescribed medication. People are stocking up on medicines and their prescriptions. It’s so busy that people even want to walk out of busy places because the business is overwhelmed. This overwhelm is really bringing out people’s true nature and I get it, I really get it, we have never lived in times like these before. Everyone believes they’re important in front of a cashier. Is blaming someone really going to save lives right now, is pushing in the queue going to give you priority at life, is it going to give you better service? Right now, who gives a rat’s ass if you are going to go and complain to the manager because quite frankly everyone is trying to do their best where they’re at. You lose your medical aid card in the busyness of it all take responsibility and do what you got to do next and sure… there are a lot of pickpocketers taking advantage of the panic, confusion and scatterbrained. Choose your attitude wisely, choose to be kind, compassionate, understanding, nonreactive, not difficult cause frankly it does not matter who you are right now. You and the cashier’s life currently is of the same value. No amount of money is going to buy you anything more or less in terms of your life right about now. When push comes to shove that decision does not belong to you or the cashier. – T. Dench Patel, 25 March 2020, 20:12
Nature can survive, nature has survival instincts, we are part of nature, we are part of the ecosystem. Our own survival instincts will guide us – T. Dench Patel, 25 March 2020, 14:40 BUT there is one thing, God/Universe/Source call it what you want is still above all things. Ultimately, this force can change everything in one second. It takes less than a second for the rug to be pulled out under your feet and create a “blessing” in your world. A “blessing” you won’t accept at that moment, a “blessing” you will see later on, maybe.
Originally the title of this article was going to be “Can your money save you now? Sure, buy food, but can you buy your life, can you buy God?”
Alright, now what? You’re a millionaire, you’re a billionaire or you have just enough. Maybe this can help you survive longer or maybe not. Can you buy off the medical staff? Can you buy the hospital beds? Can you buy the medication if suppliers are too slow in supplying? Can you tell COVID-19 “Hey, leave my body, I’ll give you 1000 000 to leave me.” Can you buy off everything that will stop the spread of the virus in such little time and how can you be sure that others haven’t tested positive to the virus?
So, some right now are still running their small businesses because they have no idea how they will get food for their family, other small businesses have closed. Will I die from starvation? Will I die from the virus? The truth is, God/Universe/Source call it what you want decides whether it’s going to keep you alive, give you a shot of the wakeup call, or have you leave this earth with or without saying any goodbyes. – T. I can tell you this because I have been a survivor of crisis as an immigrant in the immigrant underworld even when I was legal. Nothing was ever guaranteed, that even if I was in the right, I could not call the police to help me. More than five times I have started from zero (okay honestly, over fifteen times and stopped counting), I’ve been fired unfairly once in my entire life in a job, otherwise, I had lived with consequences of the economic crisis and domestic violence amongst many things. I was forced to my knees many times (still I don’t know how to ask anyone outside of my immediate family for help and still have difficulty asking them for help) I still learn that nothing is guaranteed, the present misfortune will leave, better days come, misfortunes return, and better days come again. The COVID-19 had shaken every person’s life in this world right this minute, every person from the very wealthy right up to the poorest person on this planet. I mean we are at a historic moment in the world where doctors are at the highest risk and they too can’t guarantee their own lives or anyone else’s life. They can only guarantee their attitude, the face of hope that YOU see even if they have none. So, turn to prayer, there’s more faith and hope there always and ever. – T. What’s it going to take to remove our ego, pride, entitlement, arrogance and just get down on our knees to God/Universe/Source or what you want to call it and begin the relationship and maintain it for once? Talk from the heart about what really matters. What will that cost us? Maybe we can do this together? Let’s say these words together. Let me use what I say after meditation daily as a start.
Close your eyes, visualise how you would imagine God/Universe/Source or what you believe in, if you want to get on your knees it’s up to you, put your head down before him/her, hold your hands together like one would do when they get ready to pray to God/Universe/Source or what you believe in and now that you have put yourself in a “humble mode,” you will find that your own words will come after this. The words you locked up inside your heart. Be very honest to and with yourself, it’s only you and the conversation with the higher force. No lying to yourself. You can practice this after you read this so that your own words come to you. Feel into your heart, and now honestly say quietly what you are thankful for and visualise it, mean it, tears may fall from your eyes with this practice. Visualise God/Source/Universe or what you believe in and visualise the moments in your mind that come up that you are grateful for and repeat to God/Source/Universe or what you believe in three times quietly, “Father, I am thankful for… while you’re visualising it.”
I cry tears of gratitude when I practice this. You have started a beautiful relationship and you will find your heart opening up to say a lot more after this. The conversation that no one is listening to or has time to listen to you now can be shared with God/Source/Universe or what you believe in. What did this practice cost you? It costed losing some of your little demons to reach your natural state, unmasked.
Let me know how you are dealing with the current times? Please leave comments on what you are doing so that other people can take note. Amen! God Bless, stay healthy, happy, trust and we will get through this.
Yours sincerely,
T. Dench Patel
