Hello friends,
here we are on another day. The garden seems so green; we have received late rain this summer, but lately, it’s been really good, after many hot days we see showers. I mean people are saying that if it were a little consistent daily that would be perfect because the sun soaks the moisture right back up, either way, life is never perfect right? I am glad and grateful it still rains; I still remember that drought that Cape Town had with no rainfall and very dry winters for a couple of years.
So, you must be wondering what’s this topic all about. Okay, if you have been reading my articles, you must know of two severe bites that I happened to get in the space of 2 weeks? If not, then there you go. You know what I thought, who knows how long it took a spider to get there, or maybe it took no effort at all, but it took less than half a second to get a bite, in both cases, it took less than 60 seconds for me to see or feel (even unknowingly) the result of the bite… who knew it would lead me to further enlightenment… 😉.
Want my advice? Okay, I’ll give it anyway… Don’t underestimate what can happen in 60 seconds.
It took less than 60 seconds for someone to take their phone and start recording, it took 60 seconds for people to realise what was happening to George Flloyd in public, Georg Fllody lost consciousness for 1 minute and 20 seconds, and the entire scene, which has been argued took either 7 or 8 minutes and 46 seconds. It has been said, “Bottom line is, it makes no difference; the time it took, it was long enough to kill him, and it was long enough to execute him.”

Similarly, I watched a video that I randomly came across, and it took a 60-second thought or less for a person to say, “Hey, I’m recording this,” then it took a 60-second thought or less for a person to grab their phone and start recording. It took a 60-second thought or less for a very wealthy man who is a regular at a restaurant to think of something negative, it took a series of negative thoughts that could have gone wild in 30 seconds to 60 seconds in his head like a cocktail as he consumed alcohol (still no excuse). It took ultimately less than 60 seconds for the man of “prestige” to be exposed all over the internet. Similarly, when I look at the name of his company, I personally believe he, at the time of building his company (don’t know now), used methods such as the law of attraction. I mean the abundance number is present. It took less than 30 seconds for the waitress to instinctively defend the Asian family, and it must have been several 30-second thoughts to 60-second thoughts in several people to start creating funding for the waitress which is said to be a six-figure amount.
My question to you, how long does it take to build an 8-figure business? Are you forcefully building your reputation in your business, being nice to your customers, playing a false A-game just to make an 8-figure number or more? Then, who are you really, in private, as a partner, as a friend, as a son, as a father, as a husband, as a family man, as a grandson, as a person (the same question to you if you are a woman reading this)?
How long does it take for a person’s reputation to slide? Less than 60 seconds. Upwards? Less than 60 seconds.

What are your values as a citizen of our planet? What is your ingrained code of conduct in everything you do?
I looked at the date this video was posted, it was the beginning of the real result of our world economy during Coronavirus. Not only did or the cracks start showing, what is false has been leaving this world during this time, it’s stripping every entity (including people). The real reason for hate, racism, xenophobia, sexism, patriarchy, violence, crime, etc. is because we’ve become the underdogs under “a” system so that the system can work (not sure according to who), the real reason people leave the system is because they believe in the law of the universe call it God, higher power, whatever you want. When you believe in this power; creativity, alignment, co-creating, source and pure intention then this is different energy altogether. When you understand this, you will seriously understand that just like you can create anything in your world, choosing what is not authentic, choosing negativity especially even when you’re winning, is like illegal gambling, where one day, your name comes up and the rug gets pulled underneath you in 30 seconds to 60 seconds.
Working from this place and not from a false A-game, your 30-second to 60-second thoughts either flattens the energy and vibration of our world or you can intentionally work at raising this energy or vibration of the world and the people you meet. Choosing thoughts wisely, choosing words deliberately, choosing the 60-second or 30-second moment can flip our lives around depending on who we really are, the truth will come out in those seconds no matter how much or how long we paint, coat and cover the rest.
For one to choose the correct 30-second to 60-second thought the question to ask is this:
- Am I being deliberate about my daily practises?
- Do I have an intentional daily practise?
- What are my values?
- How often am I living from them and is it ingrained in me that automatically in 30 seconds to 60 seconds I choose value-driven decisions, actions, words and intentions? Why, because in all that you read up there… something is very evident. Can you pick out what that is? I will give you some time to think about it.

Do I bring drama and negativity around me? Do I bring value and positivity around me?
