Hello friends,
How are you today?
I can feel the chill in the air, autumn is beginning to make its statement, still, I won’t complain, the sun still shines.
No matter the season, let your shine still shine. – T. Dench Patel, 2 March 2020, 15:04
Come, what we’re having today? Tea? Coffee? Water? Hot chocolate? Juice …?
Hmm, I’m going to get an orange juice… let’s see who gets back to the table first? Ready, get set, go…
…
…
…
You obviously won! I was too slow…
Alright, while sipping on my juice… You’re wondering what this topic is about.
You remember? Come on, you remember… You reminisce of the times you had in the past where you had such magical moments. Some thoughts still remain in your mind and you wonder, what happened? “What happened to those people who I had so much fun with at that phase of my life when I was in…? Everyone’s grown up, everyone’s got their own life. Why we no longer talk now? It seems so petty now… I still remember that song we all did stupid moves to… What a laugh…”
As a traveller who has seen many many places, I have returned to some places over and over again sometimes trying to find the same magic. There was no same experience to take back home and unpack, sometimes I never found the same magic, and in very rare moments I found the similar magic twice. I have learnt how to tap into awareness, intuition and reading signs on certain levels after years of experience and observation, especially as a lone traveller. There were certain feelings that I felt in my heart when I left places and said goodbye to people including when I returned and left home. Today, I’ve learnt to make the best of the present synchronicities, energies and accept that tomorrow is something else, tomorrow we all will be at another phase and another place in our lives. What’s even more awesome, is to find the same bunch of people; our tribe to move along the same level with, even though everyone seeks different things so that when you’re with your tribe you’re likely to be on a similar vibe.
People often said, “This place changed a lot.”
Sure, a place can change a lot, maybe if you’ve been away from it for at least a decade, but in reality, you’ve changed. – T. Dench Patel, 2 March 2020, 15:57
What you’ve felt at the time, place and who you were with makes a whole lot of difference/made a whole lot of difference.
The reason why we return to some places to try and rekindle the feeling is because something has died in us; an old zest that you want to feel again or even chasing the past because you’re finding it hard to accept that this is your present. Some people move on from the past while some people still live in that place.
The actual place where you visited; Rome, Venice, Prague have magic to it because the people who are travelling there have the same vibe which comes together collectively. A person who lives in Rome, Venice or Prague might end up being the person serving you in the shop or someone you won’t even bump into if they’re working in an office. This is why the place remains the same most of the time, it’s the people that make the experience. T. Dench Patel, 2 March 2020, 16:05
Here’s something that will make you laugh… While most people go to fall in love in Venice, I was always breaking up with someone when leaving Venice. I found this a real irony, not funny then but funny now. I mean there are a lot of people who go to Venice or Paris for honeymoons, short breaks and have these two cities in mind when they are planning to pop the question. Living in Europe it seems that these were/are the popular romance destinations. The energy/vibe of a tourist is always higher than someone who lives in that place.- T. When you are in sync feeling the energies and synchronicities, let go and ride it with all you got
As a lone traveller and lone ranger for many years I’ve learnt to make the best of these energies, the supporting energies, vibes, signs, synchronicities and the minute the synchronicities hit I know I’m in a magical phase/place and I just ride with it, because I know that it’s a gift, it’s waves of prosperity that you don’t know when you’ll get to feel again, be in this vibe again, be around these people again, be this age again, feel this way again because tomorrow is something else altogether… no one really knows…making friends while on holiday is easier than making friends in the city or town you live in.– T. The place stays the same, buildings and landmarks get maintained by different people yet they still bring in tourists and visitors, the paint gets worn out, the newborn travellers come while the old goes, the sun goes down and rises again, the man with the hot dog stand gets replaced by a man with panini stand, the woman who blew bubbles on the bench in the park for free just to see the smile kids and parents have on their face after losing her family in a terrorist attack leaves and gets replaced by a homeless man sleeping on that same bench.
Now, do you see how much magic people have in them, how much love people have in them, how much one person blowing bubbles in a park for free can change the ambience of the whole park? Find your magic, make our world more magical and light up lives. Be the life of the place, be the light of the place – T. Dench Patel, 2 March 2020, 16:35
