Hello friends,
hope you are well.
I am still very upset about what happened to George Floyd. Seriously, like God, Universe, Source or the higher power has pretty much revealed the bigger virus that’s been breeding amongst us for centuries, it has become so massive that the loss of George Floyd has demonstrated to us what prevails… and that is not Coronavirus.
Silence is complicit when you can hear your neighbour beating someone up but choose to ignore it. Silence is complicit whether you’ve witnessed someone’s injustice or not, yet you are ninety percent certain that it’s happened or happening. Silence is betrayal. Silence is complicit when you do not choose to listen to your gut feelings especially when it is demanding you to do the right thing or to even go in the right direction. T. We betray ourselves a lot of the time and so how do we stand up for others if we can’t stop betraying ourselves? What is really coming to light is a massive awakening; the message to work on ourselves. We really need to work on ourselves. The looting of shops, the entitlement we think we have even over someone else’s life… It says a lot about us as individuals and as a society.
What we accept and have learnt to accept? It’s time to elevate, rise up and raise our vibrations. Pointing fingers gets no one anywhere we’re all fighting with each other to get a piece of the pie. What pie? People are trying to survive in a time where one virus is fighting another, at a time where people are losing jobs. At a time where people are in the search of starting over with just hope in their hands and an empty pocket… only god knows when that changes…

You know it’s a good thing that schools are closed right now, it really is. We are having a lot showing up in front of us to reflect on before Coronavirus came along. Take a look at this article Half of youth suicides is because of bullying one out of ten kids adolescents tell someone else about bullying
The education system really needs a change and across the world, many parents feel the same. Here is one such article that goes more in-depth How do we know what to teach kids today if we don’t know what jobs will exist tomorrow
At the end of this article, I will list a few more articles about the schooling system and how the outdated system and values are still being taught. Investing in psychologists, implementing self-improvement (especially a non-judgement perception, kindness and compassion) meditation, healthy social skills, awareness on healthy living can make children realise the difference between healthy living and healthy patterns. Helping kids form a healthy circle of friends can really help to pull them out of what they thought, or think is morally correct and out of what might be happening at home. I believe this is where it all starts and this is where unhealthy patterns can be changed, where we can stop a to be narcissist in their tracks and so much more that our current society is dealing with.
Who says we’re going to have a perfect world? At least the more people that get it the better, we can work together as a society and not separately; by race or religion. Standing in silence letting things happen will continue as a norm, whistleblowing, who knows, we could be saving many lives this way.
You know I always thought this, what you didn’t know as a teenager you still don’t entirely know as an adult. Whatever that area is for you. The difference is because you’ve come to age, you get charged, sued, go to jail etc. You only find out until you’ve crossed the line. Seriously, there are people in our society around the world who are in this position. What if we taught them what really needs to be taught; before they end up committing some serious crimes?
With technology, mental health issues have increased and celebrities are raising these issues right now.
Here is another article that goes into the percentage of children’s mental health even though the majority of the article focuses on academics and how technology plays a part in today’s world.

Here are some more articles elsewhere on the internet around the schooling system.

Why our education system needs to change
The above article is pretty good as it goes into soft skills such as persistence, flexibility in thinking, the ability to listen with understanding and empathy, metacognition, resilience, creativity, communicating with clarity, self-management, and being open to continual learning. It also talks about the lack of individuality.
UK education system what needs change
School, is where it all begins…
Perhaps then we’d know what silence costs, perhaps then we’d know what lives are worth, perhaps then we’d know what path we really need to take. How about we accelerate people’s education before they waste their lives to such an extent that it gets so hard to turn things around? T. Dench Patel, 3 June 2020, 22:10
Over a week ago I have posted these two articles. They have received many reads from eight countries. Here are the links just in case you haven’t gotten round to reading them.
