Asking powerful questions

Asking powerful questions

Asking powerful questions take just as much art as answering a powerful question, but that also depends on your inner game, i.e., how confident are you, are sure of yourself, intuitively how do you feel about answering the question, why is it being asked, and by who. Wouldn’t you agree, if you don’t like someone, and you’re stuck with having to talk to them, you’d either ask closed questions, rather light questions, have things be short and sweet?

Relationship resilience – How COVID has tested your relationships

Relationship resilience – How COVID has tested your relationships

You know, this isn’t something that is out there, but with 2020 I definitely knew of several people who had marriage on the cards, and I feel that the news hasn’t really put this out in the forefront. I don’t know, over the weekend this topic came across my mind, and I was like, “Gosh, I really would like to know the statistics around this, challenges, etc.” I know so many people have said, “We have never been in each other’s space, like for this long, and with the risks, we have never felt the lows that we have felt like this year ever.”

Change the meaning of your belief – Thinking for yourself– First principles thinking

First principles thinking is a form of thinking that allows the idea to become whole from breaking down the composition of the requirements so that each requirement can be seen as whole and true to form, something much bigger that is ultimately the full product of all these little whole and true components making it a whole, true and beautiful product. First principles thinking can be applied to almost anything that a person is creating, music, writing (me writing this), a product, a dish… you name it, and for Elon Musk… yes, you already know.

Less than 60 seconds

Less than 60 seconds

It took less than 60 seconds for someone to take their phone and start recording, it took 60 seconds for people to realise what was happening to George Flloyd in public, Georg Fllody lost consciousness for 1 minute and 20 seconds, and the entire scene, which has been argued took either 7 or 8 minutes and 46 seconds. It has been said, “Bottom line is, it makes no difference; the time it took, it was long enough to kill him, and it was long enough to execute him.”

Educate children on what they’re getting into way before they begin to select their career

So why would it fail until you make it? Speaking from experience… when you see the coolness of it before even feeling how much work it would take to get there because you see your future self in the uniform and not the duty, or you’re seeing the illusion rather than the real reason why. – T. Namaste Bhai Goodbye Madam

Namaste Bhai Goodbye Madam

It still goes on and you must know all the Gujarati terms that go with that, Kaka, Kaki, Jethani (I am sure some of this is spelt wrong), this one I laugh at, “Wow” …. Every time I hear this word that describes a relationship “wow” I can’t help but imagine a big party in my head with balloons bursting everywhere in the background and me going “Wow!” (I am sure the spelling is different but the sound to me is just about the same, only with less excitement) Seriously, I don’t know how many cousin brothers and sisters I have around the world and who are supposed to be the closest ones. 😀 (Kidding).

Drug, alcohol and other additions increase and spread quickly in developing countries

Drug, alcohol and other additions increase and spread quickly in developing countries but is it really about living in developing countries or is it about living in poverty or somewhere middle-class, even wealthy in both first world and developing countries?

You know when we first went on lockdown worldwide last March 2020, I was setting the table for dinner when I saw a glimpse of the news on the television. I stopped setting the table and went closer to just see if I saw right. I then listened properly to what was going on in the news. What shocked me was the long, very very long queue of people in poor villages in India waiting to buy alcohol when alcohol sale reopened after a temporary lockdown. It hit me then, “Man, these people are really poor how come alcohol is so important for them that they will come either really early to be first or stand in a long queue in the heat?” This really hit me.
