The opportunities that present to people in this life come in unconventional ways. The question is how ready is a person to risk and trust their life purpose over a career? I and many others can say that there aren’t just one or two ways to get to a dream, a career or most importantly one’s life purpose, i.e., each unique to every person on this earth.
I spoke to older people, observed younger people and their direction, and engaged with people of my age group. I then concluded that nothing is guaranteed. Why should you live life with no regrets? What is guaranteed is the here and the now. I’ve let some old thought patterns go as my life had to adapt.
You can’t predict any outcome. Why keep making them carry weight on an outcome which hasn’t even happened? Teach them how to make intelligent decisions instead. One less thing for you to control and one more thing for them to be responsible about. Learn to trust their decisions.
Growing up in the apartheid era has instilled and engraved a natural state of unworthiness in both men and women here in South Africa that when apartheid ended many people of South Africa didn’t know how to heal. They just carried on. I have witnessed things myself as well and witnessed a few things outside of my sphere. Here’s my take.
Through my observation, these are contributing factors to what is estimating your worthiness?
With regards to the years of Apartheid, the number of Indians that arrived in South Africa were from India considering British India won its independence in 1947 (India and Pakistan split) the year after 1948 is when South Africa started the Apartheid regime.
